The Journal of Science Technology and Engineering Research (JOSTER) welcomes high-quality original research articles, review papers, case studies, and technical notes in all areas of science, technology, and engineering. Authors are advised to read and follow these submission guidelines carefully to ensure a smooth review and publication process.
1. Scope of the Journal
JOSTER publishes papers that contribute to the advancement of knowledge in, but not limited to:

3. Submission Checklist
Before submitting, ensure that:
✅ The manuscript is original and has not been published or submitted elsewhere.
✅ All authors have approved the manuscript and agree to its submission.
✅ Ethical approvals and conflict of interest disclosures are included, if applicable.
✅ The manuscript follows the formatting guidelines provided below.
4. Manuscript Preparation
A. Language
All submissions must be written in clear and grammatically correct English. Authors who are not native speakers are encouraged to use professional language editing services.
B. Manuscript Format

File format: Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx)

Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt

Spacing: 1.5 line spacing

Margins: 1 inch on all sides

Page numbers: Bottom center
C. Manuscript Structure
A typical manuscript should include the following sections:

Title Page

Title (concise, descriptive, no abbreviations)

Full names of all authors

Affiliations and email addresses

Corresponding author with full contact details

Abstract (150–250 words)

Clearly state the purpose, methodology, results, and conclusion.

Avoid references and abbreviations.

Keywords (4–6 keywords)

5. Tables and Figures

Number figures and tables consecutively (e.g., Table 1, Figure 1)

Provide clear captions below figures and above tables
-
Ensure image resolution is at least 300 DPI

Embed tables and figures within the text and also upload them as separate files if requested
6. Ethical Considerations
Authors must follow ethical guidelines related to:

Data integrity and honesty

7. Plagiarism Policy
All manuscripts are screened using plagiarism detection software. Submissions with a similarity index above 20% (excluding references) will be rejected or returned for revision. See the Plagiarism Policy.
8. Article Processing Charges (APC)

9. How to Submit
Manuscripts must be submitted through our online submission system or by email to:

10. Peer Review Process
All submissions undergo double-blind peer review by at least two experts. Authors will receive editorial decisions and reviewer feedback typically within 4–6 weeks.

11. After Acceptance
Upon acceptance:

Final formatting and typesetting will be done by the editorial office.

Authors will receive proofs for final corrections.

The article will be published online with DOI assignment and indexed in relevant databases.
