Article Processing Charges (APC) Policy

The Journal of Science Technology and Engineering Research (JOSTER) is committed to promoting open access to scientific knowledge while maintaining high editorial and publishing standards. To cover the costs associated with peer review management, editorial production, online hosting, and long-term archiving, the journal applies an Article Processing Charge (APC) for accepted manuscripts.

1. Submission Charges

???? No submission fee. Authors are not charged at the time of manuscript submission.

2. Article Processing Charges (APC)

A one-time APC is applicable only upon acceptance of the manuscript for publication. The current APC rates are as follows:

• Research Articles / Review Papers / Case Studies: USD 100

• Short Communications / Technical Notes: USD 70

The APC includes:

• Double-blind peer review management

• Editorial processing and typesetting

• DOI assignment and metadata registration

• Online open-access hosting

• Long-term digital archiving

3. Waivers and Discounts

JOSTER is committed to supporting researchers with limited funding. Full or partial waivers may be granted in the following cases:

• Authors from low-income or lower-middle-income countries (as defined by the World Bank)

• Graduate students as corresponding authors (subject to verification)

• Collaborative institutional agreements

4. Payment Process

Payment instructions will be provided once a manuscript is accepted. Payment can be made via:

• Bank transfer

• PayPal

• Institutional invoice (if applicable)

An official receipt will be issued upon confirmation of payment.

5. Refund Policy

APCs are non-refundable once an article has been published. If an error in billing occurs, authors may contact the editorial office for resolution.
